The TD1 Forensic Duplicator is the latest innovation by Tableau. The Forensic Duplicator provides Disk-to-file or Disk-to-disk duplication for the following setups: IDE – IDE, IDE – SATA, SATA – SATA, SATA – IDE. It is able to format destination drives (FAT32). The TD1 natively supports both SATA and IDE hard disks and sustains data transfer rates up to 6 GB/minute while simultaneously calculating both MD5 and SHA-1 hashes. The TD1 Forensic Duplicator is a Disk drive wiper with disk blank check, display / log disk information, hash disk (verification hash), and the ability to generate & save (to USB thumb drive) duplication logs, device & duplication process setup (examiner, duplication options, log options, TD1 info, default restore, etc). The TD1 recognizes & automatically defeats HPA and will also recognize, alert, & prompt the user for DCO defeat action.
