The DM-IV provides the user with RAID 0,1,10,3 capability as well as the RAID 5 function for more reliability. The system allows for several host interfaces: FireWire 800, FireWire 400, eSATA or USB 2.0. "TrayFree bays make adding drives effortless. It's as easy as opening the door, sliding the drive in, and closing the door. No screws, no trays, it just works."

The Forensic Data Monster IV is shipped in a Pelican case with custom foam formatted to hold the Data Monster, it's accessories and your drives.
